Can't belive how much it rained yesterday

Every Friday there is Friday Rock in Tivoli, and this year most names are Danish bands,( and only one I would like to see)but last night James Morrison was on, and even if it had been raining all day,and still did when he came on at 10pm, there was a lot of people there.( When you have payed the entry, the concert is for free)If the weather had been better ,I am sure there would have been so many more people.
This guy has a great voice, I got the new album, and I am going to buy his first album today ,that's for sure
Can't help thinking how hes voice will sound like in 20 years from now, when it has matured ......lol

About mobile phones

I'm a Nokia person.....now I've said it....
I've had Nokia phones since I started texting, and I do text a lot, but my N73 was getting old, (and I needed a new toy) and my friend, who buys new mobiles every 3 month, said that I should try an Sony Ericsson, and since I've never had one, I couldn't say I didn't like it, so I went out and got me a SE phone, a W595, and it's ok, but I sooooo miss my Nokia, and in about one month I can buy me a new phone, and that will be a Nokia again.....
I have been thinking about an Iphone, coz that is so cool, but they are too expensive here in Denmark, so it will have to wait till they go down in prize.
Next one might be N96....... :o)

Where did the sun go ????

I am not sure what happened, May was warmer than ever, now it's June and cold.......it's not right, we want (and need ) summer now......PLEASE.
I want to put my rain-coat away, and put on my sun glasses.

Las Vegas again.....

I am going to Las Vegas again !!!
I was there in August 2007 for 16 days, this time I will be going for two weeks, august 25th till September 7th.
I will be traveling with two friends, and I can't wait for August to come :o)
Last time it was soooooo warm, so I hope this time it will be a bit cooler, so we can be outside a bit more.
I would love to see some thing away from the strip, like a local marked or so, so if anyone knows of things like that, please let me know.
Saw Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon last time, so I would love to see other things this time.

I think I will get a book about what to see in Las Vegas, so I can check out what I don't want to miss this time.

And here's my kitchen (haven't got curtains yet, went to Ikea yesterday, but they didn't have what I wanted) My other place was a new building, and everything was all new when I moved in, but this is an old building, and has so much more charm, I really love it

Still need to hang up some pictures and lamps, but I feel very comfortable in here

Also need a curtain ( one of them roll once)but they cost a lot, so it will have to wait....

Well, now you have seen my new home :o)

This place is bigger than my old place, and cost me 3000 kroner less each month (that would be about $546 or £ 378 ) so this will give me more money to travel for, and that is so great.

My new place

I got the keys to my new place Friday morning, but since I was working all day I didn't go there till Saturday. My friend Marju and I went to buy paint for the living room (coffee) and for my bedroom (pale blue)and we started to paint around doors, windows and things, so I just had to roll the rest of the paint on, since there are a lot of work in that, that was all we did, so today Sunday I got up at 7am......YES 7am........ this is late on a workday for me, but VERY early for me on a Sunday, but at 9, I had my shower and my breakfast, and started painting my new bed room
Later my friend Marianne came by to help, and washed the kitchen, boy am I happy I don't have to do that.....
At one o'clock I was back home for lunch, and my friend Pia came to help me pack, and we did pack a lot, and now I am just sitting here looking forward to go to bed.....
Can't wait to go to work tomorrow so I can relax..... :o)

I am moving

Tomorrow I will get the keys for my new apartment. I have only known for a week and two days that I got the apartment, so I am in one big mess, with boxes everywhere.
I am moving on marts the 8th
My new place is 8 square meteres bigger than this one, and cost about £ 360 less than this one, so I will be rich :o) and spend all my money on traveling (and a Dooney & Bourke bag)
I will take some pictures when I have everything in it's place

It's not that I don't have anything to write about, I was in New York for the first time , so I have a lot to write about, and a lot of pictures to share......so as soon as I can put myself together I will post a lot of pictures :o)

November 15...It's Steve Irwin day

Steve Irwin day is the day the world celebrate Steves life, and all he did for our world.

When my son was very young ,we saw Steve and Terri on TV for the first time, and since we both are animal lovers, we were sat there in front of tv every time it was on, I even wrote n email (for Thomas, since he was too Young to write or understand English)and he even got one back.

Today Thomas big dream is to open a zoo one day, and he is working on it, and i believe he and his friend will do it one day.

Last year Thomas vent to Madagascar to "walk in Steves footsteps" and had a fantastic trip.

I am so sorry that a man who worked so hard for those who don't have a voice, had to die in such an early age

The 5th of November...
I woke up today and aside from it being my birthday, America has a new President, Congratulations President Obama! It's truly one of the best birthday presents I've ever had, because I've got hope; hope for people that have less, hope for people that need help, hope for a change that is so desperately needed in restoring some faith that there is someone that isn't governed by the need for conquest, but the need for compassion. If this is the kind of thing we have to look forward to in the next 4 years, then we will see a better world, because hope is all I/we could ever ask for.8:41AM

New York....in two month

In only two month from today I will be in USA, and I am sooooo looking forward to it.
My friend Charlotte and I will be staining with our friend Lindas daughter and husband in Philly, and will celebrate new years evening with them, and on the first day in 2009 we will be going to New York.
First I was to stay there alone for three days, coz Charlotte was going to Costa Rica for a few days, but she changed her mind, so now we got some days in NY instead.It has shorten our trip with 3 days :o(
It nice to have one to share everything with, but I will not have the chance to half of what I had hoped, and planed......
My friend Charlotte is working for the airlines, so we travel very cheap, and I have to be on the same flight as her (otherwise I would stay longer)so I can not complain, just be happy that she will take me with her (on business class.....)I wouldn't have a chance to go if she didn't.....
Only two more month

To forgive, or not.....

We were some friends together here the other day, and got to talk about forgiven, and it is really strange how different we looked at the word FORGIVE
I am a very forgiven person, because I have decided to be....
I must ad ,that nothing have ever happened to my love once, (thank god)and I might not feel the same way if that should happened, but I will not live my life after "what if"

I think we put different things into the word, because I forgive, doesn't mean I think it was the right thing, and if a person have done something bad and I forgive the person, doesn't necessary mean that I want to continue to see or be friends with the person......

Raising a son on my own from he was eight, I have told him that I can forgive EVERYTHING, (as long as he doesn't come a racist)I might be angry, or sad, but I will forgive him no matter what, and love him no matter what, again, he have never given me a reason to change my mind,and I like to think that he couldn't
I am not saying that ha can't make me angry, ohhh he known what to say and do, but I am never angry for to long, don't really have the red hair temper I should have.......

I think that forgive is a thing you do for yourself, to feel better inside, in my world, anyway.....

Paris !

Ok, here I go......
Paris was wonderful, Bryan Adams was fabulous as always....


We arrived on Friday, and since my friends (Jannie, Nette and Gitte ) all have been in Paris many times (Jannie and Nette lived there for more than a year) and the all speak France, I was kinda lost since I don't speak a word, so I just put my faith in their hands, and they gave me a fantastic holiday.

We were in Paris for 6 days and it felt like 14, coz we saw so much

I took 787 pictures, so it's been very hard for me to pick a few to put on here, but it would take too long to put all of them on.......lol

I feel Paris comming on....

On Friday morning 5:20 I will be picked up, go to the airport (it's only about 10 minutes away)and two hours later we will be flying to Paris, so if there is anything you think is a must see, please let me know :o)

I am going with 3 friends, Gitte, Jannie and Nette, and I am sure we will have a lot of fun. Jannie and Nette have lived in Paris, so they will show us around.

And not to forget, Bryan Adams..... we are going to see Bryan Adams at the Zenith, at first it was at Olympia, but was changed, and the reason we wanted to see him there was coz' the Olympia was a small place, oh well, I am sure we will have a good time anyway....we always do when we see Bryan
We will be back on Wednesday night.

A rose for each person who lost their life on 9/11
You will never be forgotten !

I can't believe it's been 7 years since 9/11, I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was working (I work at home ) and my sister called and told me to turn on the TV, normal I don't turn on the TV in my working hours, but I did, and I was stunned.....

When I finished work, I sat in front of the TV the rest of the day, crying a lot for all the liefs there were lost for no reason at all.

The world will never be the same after 9/11

My thoughts and prayers goes out to all the people who lost a near and dear one on 9/11
